This is everything I love about my alma mater:

1. The Campus Kitty Miss Hendrix pageant is an officially sanctioned event and the highlight of the school year. Alumni and faculty fight with students for the best seats.

2. It’s an honor, for anyone, to tryout and be selected to compete in a drag show for charity.

3. Everyone on campus can dance like a motherfucker.

4. The Veasey Crawl (see 3:22).

Undergrad wasn’t so long ago but it feels like a lifetime. It’s strange to think that I will never again be in environment that was so challenging and so supportive at the same time. I’ll never again live in a community where I know every single one of the thousand faces I see everyday.

There are far better things that lay ahead, et cetera. But right now I just miss college.
